CPCS Excavator 360° - Lifting Operations (Bolt On Only)

Introduction

Lifting is not the primary use of an excavator, but there are occasions where using one is the most appropriate route to take on a project. To use an excavator for lifting, additional machine checks and training for the operator must be in line with regulations and safety measures, namely CPCS Endorsement C. For example, excavators need different safety devices such as an acoustic warning device and a boom lowering device to lift.

This CPCS Excavator 360 Lifting Operations certification is a bolt-on course that delivers the necessary skills, knowledge, and understanding of lifting operations using an Excavator 360 and safely using it. It is solely for Plant Operators who already hold an A58 or A59 CPCS card and require additional practical and theory-based training and assessment to add lifting operations.

Course Outline

With practical exercises and tutorials, delegates will cover relevant operational and safety requirements for operators lifting with 360-degree excavators and participate in practical activities to recognise machine components and functions, best practices, and operating methods.

The course reflects national standards and industry best practices and is fully accredited in line with regulations. In addition, choose to learn with Citrus, and we can tailor courses to fit your specific training needs, with the added flexibility provided by our custom-built training facilities and customer-first approach to how we work.
