NPORS Road Roller (N214)

Introduction

The Road Roller - sometimes referred to as a ride-on roller, is a ground evening and levelling machine designed to leave a smooth, level or cambered surface on construction sites of all types and sizes. They are ideal for landscaping, earthwork and tarmac or asphalt compacting works, working with materials such as soil, gravel, concrete, and tarmac. They’re a common site on sites constructing roads and foundations for a variety of projects and purposes.

This Road Roller N214 NPORS certification delivers the necessary skills, knowledge, and understanding to operate a road roller safely and effectively. It is for plant operators who require practical and theory-based training and assessment to operate a road roller as part of their daily duties on-site.

Course Outline

Through a mix of practical and theory-based exercises and tutorials, delegates will cover manufacturer and general knowledge and responsibilities of road roller operation while participating in practical plant operating activities, safety procedures, and best practices.
